My favorite logos are those that have a hidden story or meaning within the logo. Kory Pence, the individual who designed my logo, did an excellent job of incorporating the meaning and values of my business into the logo.
The branches form a cross and represent Christ. The gold circles are the figs or fruit that a Sycomore tree produces. This symbolism reflects the verse John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” This reminds me and hopefully my clients to use their time, money, and talent intentionally to “produce fruit.”
The second piece of symbolism is the five leaves and two fruit. This relates to the story in Matthew where Jesus miraculously fed a large crowd from just five loaves and two fish. The idea is that if we offer what we have up to God, as they did in the story, God will multiply it for his purpose.
Whenever I stop and actually look at my logo, it reminds me of the “Why?” behind my business. I believe millennials have the passion and potential to make a significant impact in this world. I love helping individuals discover what they are passionate about and then structure their finances to pursue that.
