#50 - Embrace the Challenge

Embrace the Challenge

This has been a tough year for many. Recently, I was talking with a friend and fellow financial advisor that was trying to decide if he should send his child to school. He said something to the effect of “It’s incredibly stressful, but it’s a challenge and an interesting experience to adapt to.”

I found his real but positive response refreshing and it reminded me of a very simple phrase that I heard someone say - “Embrace every challenge with excitement.” Challenges often provide a learning experience and an opportunity to improve ourselves even further beyond where we once were.

By no means do I want to cheapen the very real things people are dealing with but I found this perspective refreshing and thought you might as well. Embrace the challenges of this week. There may be positive opportunities you didn’t see before.
