In case you weren’t aware… Christmas is Friday! What a year it has been! The world has experienced much heartache this year but looking back through my photos reminded me of how many great family moments we had this year as well. Below are a few of the highlights:
Watching Wesley grow. A year ago he could barely roll over. Now he is walking and “talking.” The frequent exclamations of "Dada!" make his dad proud (and maybe his mom jealous?).
Reaching goals. I set several miscellaneous goals throughout the year. I likely won’t reach all of them (still about two weeks left!) but I will reach several. Namely, went on a date with my wife every month and ran a 5k in under 18 minutes (on the treadmill).
Family time. There were family vacations and just simple unexpected family moments that I will never forget. One of my favorites is when Allie gave Wesley a hat (captured in a photo below). I will never forget his unexpected excitement and how he kept saying “Hat, hat, hat” over and over.
I would highly recommend scrolling back through your photos for the year. I hope, like me, that you find several moments that make you smile.
